Walter Jones ends Holdout

Mike Sando, of the Tacoma News Tribune, reports Seattle Seahawks holdout OT Walter Jones, the team's franchise player, has agreed to report in time for the regular-season opener. Jones's agent, Roosevelt Barnes, confirmed Jones planned to sign a one-year deal worth $5.904 million and join the Seahawks sometime Tuesday, Sept. 2.
