Those are probably very nice folks acting out for a movie. Haven't you ever done anything silly? The guy won a bet, and wanted to make a big production out of it so he could razz his friend for years to come. They were just having fun. I've done things just like that. I'm normally very buttoned down. I only own 7 guns, which is about 10 less than average in my parts. Neither me nor anyone else I know have shot anyone, or committed a felony. How about you? |

Damn, when I was 10 I owned a 410 and dipped Garrett, which in my part of the woods was considered GAY! Real Boys shot a 12 guage & dipped Copenhagen. The worst thing about living in the hooty tooty Galleria of Houston, is that you can't get a fresh can of snuff. You have to drive at least 10 miles outside the Beltway. What I'd really like now is a pack of Cannonball! woooooo weeeee! Quote:

I didn't see nearly enough alcohol for that many guns. Are you sure this was filmed in the south? And why do I keep hearing dueling banjos in my head.

They have tons of Blue Collar type dudes, with even more ATV's and guns. You just dont think of them as necks at first because they talk funny. Much as we'd like to accept the title, The South is far from a monopoly on smokeless tobacco sales & mid-America values. |
Re: Guns, Alcohol and Saints fans...
This is why I don't own guns or alcohol. Because I'm getting real sick of Christmas commercials ...

Re: Guns, Alcohol and Saints fans...
thats incredible, Noog.
I never knew anyone could live without guns or alcohol. Your tv isnt safe. You still have a hammer, I'll bet, and there will be 2 more weeks of Christmas commercials. Think you got it bad? A colleague of mine's wife is the mid day voice for Sunny 99.1 - our light A/C station. They start playing all Christmas songs the day after Thanksgiving. I half expect their office to be like that scene on "The Happening," where all those dudes were jumping off the building. |
