Since I was 4 years old ... So, that's 28 years now ... I've loved us through it all!!!

I love, however, how now that they are winning (and I continue to wear Saints stuff) ... NOW everyone thinks I jumped the bandwagon ... Chuckle heads.

I have been a fan since the beginning. I've been with them through the lows, which far out weigh the highs. This is the year of vindication.

Been a fan since 1999 when I spent a year as an exchangestudent in Louisiana. Havn't been trough the dark times as you oldies but Haslett and Brooks was bad enough for me.

I always watched football as a child, started to understand it around 1976. So, that is the time I guess I officially became a true Saints fan. Yes, lots of painful memories... LOL

Season ticket holder while growing up. Started in 1973 in Tulane Stadium. Opened up the Spuerdome.

Lost touch for a while in college. Too broke and too busy to follow.

Picked up with a vengance after finishing. Attending Saints games in Atlanta, traveling to New Orleans for December and playoff games in the 80's and the 90's.

Was there for the first playoff game in the Superdome against the ViQueens.

Was there when Hakeem dropped the ball.

Flew to Chicago for the NFC championship. It was freezing that day.

Going to see the beatdown of the 'clowns today.

Certainly hope to spend a balmy weekend in Miami in early February whether I can get into the game or not.

I've said it before on this board, but I didn't start out being a Saints fan. I was a Steelers fan until 1986 when I really started following the Saints. That was Jim Mora's first year as head coach. I haven't looked back since. I've always had black blood but I just switched out the yellow for something a little more valuable....a lot of GOLD!
