The Saints beat the Atlanta Falcons 26 to 23 to remain undefeated and continue to lead the NFC for home field advantage. Next week the Saints host the Dallas Cowboys in the Superdome in a Saturday night match up on December 19th.

it was a descent game. i would have liked to seen a better performance by the defense but cant expect too much with BOTH starting corners out. run D played well for the most part. didnt get a whole lot of pressure on the offense but ATL o line really played great. overall a solid win against a underrated opponent.

Not very impressed with the way we played today and this kind of football won't win in the playoffs you can bank that. The O-Line played like **** today and the defense has been stinking up the joint for the last 2 weeks. MJ obviously can't handle the corner and needs to be moved to S ASAP. Very, very dissapointed in this performance. If we play like that next week vs Dallas we lose, plain and simple. Pitiful display.

the only thing I'll say is that division games are always tough. yeah the D has to pick it up but they (Vilma) made plays when they had to.

Well I do not think we have the bodies to move MJ. Yeah we played bad, but both games were on the road, and that matters. Also, we are banged up- simple as that. We are hurt. Hopefully we win Saturday at home! We will be pumped not playing at home the last two weeks

Our pass rush is causing us a lot of grief. We can't even get to the QB when we bring the house.

I think Grant has gained 20 pounds since game 1.

the falcons are a better than average team then you throw in the hated rivalry between us and you have mini superbowl two times a year, this year the saints are better club than mike ****ms club hands down. go home falcunts

Give Atlanta credit. Their season was on the line and they were desperate.

They are all but eliminate. I don't think that Matt Ryan plays any more this season...

2nd week in a row of no QB pressure from the D line and weak run blocking from the O line. OK, so it was a big rivalry game. But that's what the playoffs are going to be like. 16-0 frankly doesn't mean much paired with a playoff loss. Drew can't carry this team to a SB win all by himself. He needs help at the line of scrimmage.

That said, it's really hard to complain about this season. I just don't want to be depending on perfect QB play and lucky breaks during the playoffs.
