hang on a second gang. our defense is still banged up and chris redman had all day to throw passes against us.

Re: Looking ahead to the Cowgirls
I agree with ya REAL...divisional games- Tough with a capital T- they are the only time I get those butterflies this season. And Washington should not be sitting at 4-9, considering their play all year. But we keep findin those W's in any situation, and those close games show how good this team actually is. Prediction: 38-14 Saints. 45-17 if the blow-out urge arises.

Re: Looking ahead to the Cowgirls
A great big benefit for the Saints offense is that D. Ware's injury likely means that he'll be out next Saturday. Bushrod has to be happy with that.

Re: Looking ahead to the Cowgirls
I think being in the Thunderdome will be key...the Cowgirls wont be able to handle the pressure...No D .Ware and all the stuff in their minds about the Dec failure will be the blood in the water for the Saints Sharks to feast. Im hoping D Sharp will get a pic six...lol

This is true, but I have a hard time seeing Romo having the game that Redman had-with no-one to run the ball, and in our house. The Birds at home, in the division, and whether they're playin spoiler or catch-up, that game is gonna be tough all day. Our D is what it is right now, but it does step up when we need it. The pass is gonna be too much for Dallas I think. |
Re: Looking ahead to the Cowgirls
I live in Shreveport, the front lines of Cowturd territory. When there is a schedule conflict between the Saints and the Cowboys, our local Fox affiliate would rather show the Cowboys. This does not sit well with Saints fans. This year the local rivalry has really heated up with the success of the Saints. It would make the season for a lot of local Saints fans if the Saints could squash the Cowgirls like a grape. This game, here locally, is on the same level as the Patriots game three weeks ago.
Now, with the Cowboys losing their last two games, their back is now againt the wall and they have everything to play for. The Saints better come and play with the same intensity as they played against New England. The crowd will make a huge difference in the game. If the Saints let the Cowboys score first, it could possibly take the crowd out of it. The Saints need to score first and score often. Keep the Cowboys trailing and out of the game and keep the crowd in the game just like they did New England. I think the Saints are going to win this game, but I don't think it's going to be easy. Keep the crowd in it! Saints - 30 Dallas - 24 |

Re: Looking ahead to the Cowgirls
The game will be close until the 4th quarter. Saints squeak out another. 14-0.

Re: Looking ahead to the Cowgirls
20-17 Saints. They are fighting for their playoff lives, their potential contracts next season and the ignominy of collapsing 15 Decembers in a row. Don't expect them to roll over, be afraid or hang back. They will be playing ballsout and fearless because the alternative is 8 months of torture.
