Everyone,

I'm one of the originators of this website, I thought of the name for this site and was the first person to register blackandgold.net the domain name. I lost involvement many years ago, due to family and such things.

I haven't been in to check on this site in quite some time but I just looked and wow this is incredible. I have barely scratched the surface of what is available here and am absolutely floored. Never in my wildest dreams did I ever realize that what I started would turn into this.

Congratulations staff, fantastic job!!!

If you want to call it that. Its probably more crowded, but most normal
people go in, see the daily cat-fights and general prissyness, and quickly
migrate here. We just have almost nearly zero drama, and everybody seems to have a life.

So welcome back Mr. Rick. I started lurking here, and found the place
very hospitable, was particularly moved by JOESAM thread, and also the aversion to politics and divisive talk. I've already met a bunch of posters here in person, and your Houston chapter, meets weekly.

Its the polar opposite of my old site, where I encountered the equivalent of dogs peeing on fences. The day I started posting, all the big voices here said, "Welcome," or "Hey you're crazy, you'll fit in well here." Its been quite worth my time.

amazing.....halo and the rest of the mods do a great job of keeping this site great

you should've seen it before the site crashed.....halo is doing a good job of keeping it up and running and getting everything back to normal.....but once everything gets back to normal you will be even more impressed

like everyone else said.....there isnt a better place to relax and talk saints football

When I tell friends about this site they always ask why I don't post on SR, most of the regular posters know the answer to that. This site has a strong group of knowledgeable posters that have a funny side as well. I post here frequently and I'm just glad to be a part of the B&G. BTW Good job on the domain name.
