What is the Least You Will Be Happy With?
 

A Super Bowl win is the ultimate goal and that is what all Saints fan want. But I was wondering what the average fan would be okay with for this season.

In other words, what is the least result that the Saints could have for the end of this season that you would be happy with, considering where they are right now? What could you look back on be happy with?

15-1 and a SB win would be the least. IF we lose a close one to the Cowgirls with a depleted secondary I can live with it. But I want to sweep our entire division and win a SB!

This has been a (dare I say it) a fairy tale season for the team and it's fans, far beyond anybody's wildest dreams. It will be very dissapointing if we don't make it to the Super Bowl, because we've been NFC Champs already. (We would have beaten Chicago if that game was in New Oleans.) However, I will be happy (but very dissapointed) with a good playoff showing, hopefully NFC Champions. Then they won't have the Saints to kick around anymore.

They should at least make it to the SB. And if they make it there a loss would be very disappointing. So there is only one choice.

Don't take this the wrong the way, but I'm already happy. I am happy when the Saints are competitive and have made it to the second week of the playoffs. Already accomplished with the first-round bye.

Anything beyond that (NFC Championship, SB appearance, SB rings) is pure ecstacy. A championship obviously is the ultimate bliss.

much like everyone else i want it all, the disappointment of not making it to the superbowl or making it there and losing might be too much for me to handle. im not concerned with 16-0, infact if we lost to tampa bay i wouldnt be upset, the stress would be gone and the chances of TB landing Suh in the draft would be lower.

At this point, anything less than a Super Bowl win should be considered a major disappointment. I am not worried about 16-0, just 3-0 in the post season. I mean seriously, there are only so many windows of opportunity, the Saints MUST cash in on this one. The chances of the Saints ever putting together a team like we are seeing now are slim to none. Not saying the Saints will all of a sudden get bad, but we all know that great teams do eventually get torn apart and fall.

When I was sitting in the Dome for the Jets game, I would have told you 11-5 and at least a playoff win to go with it.

Everyone wants a Super Bowl victory, me included. But there are only two things that would make me really unhappy. First, losing to Dallas on Saturday, and second, not at least making it to the Super Bowl.

No matter what happens from here on out if this team doesn't make the Super Bowl that will be very disappointing to say the least. Because of the winning success of this team it's not enough to "just make it". Sounds greedy but this window of opportunity may not ever be open again. Seize it while you can!

When the Saints lock down home field advantage I feel very confident about making it to the SB...after that...we'll see how that plays out.

The only thing better than winning the Super Bowl would be if NOLA was hosting it....that would be insane!!!

Any season the Saints are still in New Orleans and I am above ground is a happy season. The rest is gravy on the rice.

Just the opportunity to enjoy a Sunday afternoon is enough. The record doesn't matter in the end.

As I have said before we are going to lose a big part of the magic once the Saints win the Superbowl.

Happiness is in the journey, not the destination.

I have to say, I am pretty happy with what our team has accomplished so far. They have far outweighed my expectactions. In preseason, I was thinking 10-6, maybe 11-5. Right now, they are 13-0!!!

So, yeah, I am happy with where we are now. That being said, I would be even happier with a SB win. Although, if that happens, there is ZERO chance of me making it to work the next morning!

I think this question depends on how long you have been a fan ... If you're a newbie ... You're already stoked. If (like me) you've been around for 20+ years ... Anything less than a SB (and probably SB victory) will be disappointing. We've been around for over 40 years --- it's time to get that monkey off our back and be able to start acting like we've been there.

On a side note, I'll be VERY disappointed if we don't at-least make the SB because I won a bet with my bro that if they got there ... He'd take me. I NEED TO BE IN MIAMI THIS YEAR!!!

Your WRONG... $!INT'z have NEVER been NFC Champ's. We lost to the BEAR's, though we all KNOW that had that game been in N.O. we would have WON, but the bottom line is that we DID'NT. If we were NFC Champ's before, then that would meen we played in a Super Bowl, u understand. Now, yes we have been Divisional Champ's, but NOT Conference Champ's, which meen's NFC Champ's.
So NO we never have been NFC Champ's, until we do this year!!!

Anyone's opinion change after tonight's loss? Obviously the 16-0 season cannot happen this year, (two people voted for that). Everything else is still in play. Did the loss raise or lower what anyone will be happy with from here on out?

I am in the same boat as I was before tonight's game: goal is to win the Super Bowl, but will look back with disappointment if the Saints don't at least make it there.

im late to this thread but i voted that im already happy despite getting absolutely spanked by the cowboys all game

what would i like to happen? mulligan on the cowboys game and go 19-0 with a super bowl ring at the end
