this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; For the past couple of weeks ESPN and NFLN have been praising Cry Baby as an MVP candidate. Personally, I don't see it. But then again, there was a time when they praised Leaf over Peyton......

Low Blow!!! Difference... Rivers earned his praise. **** was all hype and bought into his own hype. Rivers may be a lot of things but he's no cry baby. He's scrappy and he runs his mouth... and the players feed off it!!! He's also a tough SOB. How else would you explain playing in the AFCC with two torn knees? As for being a MVP candidate... I think he should be there but that doesn't mean he'll finish ahead of Brees. This is Brees's year. Another thing to keep in mind... Rivers is into his 4th year as starter. 42-18 Regular Season 3-3 Post Season He can't be that bad!!! |

BTW... I didn't post this to stir the pot or talk smack. I just think it's cool.
No need to get upset... your guy is still in the lead! I don't know why some of you are so bitter about Rivers success (42-18). No Chargers fans are bitter about Brees. In fact, we're happy for him! |
