I hate using this term, but anyway - If the playoffs started today, here's what we're looking at in the NFC

Saints #1
Vikings #2

Eagles
Cowboys
Packers
Cardinals

Playoff Picture 2009


Saints would face the lowest seed in the Wild Card round, Vikings the highest.

So, who would you rather play? Who would you want to avoid?

Definitely another crack at the Pukes.

But the game I really want to see other than the Saints vs anyone, it's Packers-Farves. I would love to see Aaron Rogers beat Prima Diva in the playoffs.

Giants. They still have the inside track if they win out and Philly deals the Girls a loss. They could beat AZ and they could even beat Philly, even though they lost to them twice. I like our chances against any team as long as we come out with a little more sense of purpose than Saturday night.

I certainly do not want to see the Pittsburg Steelers and their yellow-n-black loving refs in the SB. If Roethlisberger can throw for 500 in game, I'm sure Brees could throw for 700 knowing that his OL could commit holding violations all day long and never be called for it while he sits in the pocket 5+ seconds.

darstep thats rich! In my opinion I would like to stay away from The Eagles
they are starting to look dangerous.

I want to play a team with a crappy defense and no QB. That seems to be the mix for an easy Win.

I agree. we need a team that doesn't have a run game. But if i had to pick a team right now. GIANTS!!!

The only team I don't feel comfortable playing in the NFC is the Packers. As far the rest of them... bring 'em on.

Honestly, as it stands right now, the Saints wouldn't be in very good shape against any of the projected playoff teams. With that said, there is still time to get guys healthy, some veterans rested, and to get it rolling again. A healthy defense backfield should mean Gregg Williams can get back to more aggressive football. I think the offense is going to be fine, but there is no way they can be explosive sitting on the bench. Again, goes back to the defense, they need healthy/rested players to be able to put the offense back on the field. Right now with the injuries, and players wearing down, the Saints are easy to both pass and run against. Getting players back and healthy again is going to be key. There is no reason why the Saints shouldn't be able to dominate in the post season if key guys like Ellis, Porter, Gay, and Greer can make it all the way back.
