by Bradley Handwerger / Eyewitness Sports
Posted on December 25, 2009 at 5:07 PM ****** NEW ORLEANS – Wide receiver Lance Moore and safety Usama Young have been deemed out for New Orleans’ Sunday regular season home finale against Tampa Bay. Young had surgery to fix a sports hernia Tuesday, meaning he’ll miss at least the next two weeks before he’s able to get back on the field. Sports hernia recovery reportedly takes 3-6 weeks to recover from. As for Moore, the receiver will miss with an injured ankle. The team also said linebacker Scott Shanle (concussion), safety Darren Sharper (knee), cornerback Randall Gay (concussion), defensive tackle Sedrick Ellis (knee), tight end Jeremy Shockey (toe) and cornerback Jabari Greer (groin) all are questionable. Tackle Jon Stinchcomb (knee), defensive end Bobby McCray (back), linebacker Scott Fujita (knee), center Jonathan Goodwin (ankle), tackle Jermon Bushrod (thumb), guard Jahri Evans (toe), linebacker Jonathan Vilma (knee), running back Reggie Bush (hamstring) and tight end Darnell Dinkins (foot) all are probable. Everyone is entitled to be stupid, but some abuse the privilege.
All little common sense goes a long way. Last edited by papz; 12-24-2011 at 06:47 PM.. |
