A little food for thought?

Last week's loss was one thing. Needless to say, today's loss was an upset.

But...
The last 3 games really don't mean much (considering where you guys are).
You guys seem to play the best football against the best teams. ei: Patsies
As you all know, you'll be facing some good teams in the playoffs.

Yes, the last two weeks were a bit of a damper but it's not as bad as ESPN and NFL would like it to be.
After the bye week, when every game means everything and the Dome is on fire... I'd bet $$$$ that we'll see the team that we saw against the Patsies return!!!!

So just think playoffs, keep the faith, and see you in the Super Bowl!!!

If we don't win next week or if the Vikings don't lose to the Bears or Giants, it means a hell of a lot.

I can digest the Dallas loss. We should have won, but we lost to a talented team (frequently underachieving) that was desperate to win and had heard all week how we were unbeatable.

Today is a TOTALLY DIFFERENT story. There is no excuse on Earth for losing AT HOME to a 2-12 team with the chance to clinch HFA on the line.

That is 2007-ish / 2008-ish of this team. This loss was BAD. And as I once heard, you can't polish a turd... This game was a turd.

A game to secure HFA! I think it meant something

Thanks Bolt. We need a little hope right now. We Saints have built up a defense mechanism in an attempt to keep our hearts from being completely mashed by yet another collapse by our beloved but perpetually snake bitten Saints.

Absolutely! I'm not trying to shine a light on this game... just the situation.

Though on my part, I thought you guys already had the first seed locked up. Since you don't, get pumped up!!!
For the first time this season, you really have your backs against the wall. Let's see them come out fighting!!!! 14-2 with first seed locked up!!!

This has to be one of the 3 or 4 worst losses in our history.

To go up 14-0 at home and lose to a 2-14 team is inexcusable.

Inexcusable but a win in Carolina will fix everything!!!

All Super Bowl bound teams have their share of problems... they end here!!!

It is in the top 3 of the SP era for sure.

IMO

1) Today
2) 2008 Vikings
3) 2008 Redskins

Yeah, I wonder how these SLACKERS feel about having to go to Carolina for a real MUST WIN game. Can't rest anybody now can ya?

Still, I don't see us beating the panties at home next week.

I wouldn't count on it

Vikings Chargers would be more likely

Are you a closet Saints fan or something? The few posts of yours I've read you seem like a kid looking over the fence wishing he could play with the neighbors but they don't like him

The only cure for losing is winning. Gotta wait a week for it, but we just gotta go out & beat carolina next week & get this thing turned around. It's everybody's fault. No one had a good 4th quarter, but nothing we can do about it now. This is still the best regular season Saints team ever. We just got to finish the deal.

Yes, I am a Saints fan but I don't know about closet. If they make it to the Super Bowl and face somebody else (instead of the Chargers), I'll root for them.

are you just waiting to see who makes it farther in the playoffs before settling on a bandwagon?

No. Chargers are my team.
I've always liked the Saints but not over the Chargers.

I gotta say it.... I'm outta here, til after the season... I can only take so much hippie bs, before I want to choke someone to death. Now we are getting clowned by Cowboy fans. The exteme bottom of the barrell. The worst, of the worst, the septic bottom of humanity. Whatever happens, I love you Saints brothers and sisters.... Tony Homo be danged, I will see you again, in the off season.....

AAACTUALLY, Mythbusters proved that you can polish a turd.

I realize I'm being a jerk, but I do intend it to be jest.

Regardless, we're not done yet. We can still shock the world. I BELIEVE!
