He gave us a nice boost that game where he had a pick... the Dome went berserk after that. Thanks for the help Mike.

I'll never forget the Pats game. It reminded me of the Dallas game in 06. Glad he was apart of it. unfortunately for him he just isn't the corner he use to be. Hope he finds better luck in a different system elsewhere.

Thanks Mike.

I kinda feel like this is a fantasty football team with the constant turnover. :D

Re: Mike Mckenzie Cut

I may get called down for this but every since MM came back our tackling has gotten sloppy. I can't say it's his fault, but every one tries to bump the ball carrier down instead of wrapping up the ball carrier. I've never like the way he tackled and it seems to have rubbed off on the team. I like MM and wish him well, he was just a little older and slower this time around.

You won't get called down from me. Other than the New England game, he was a non-factor. The tackling, or the lack thereof, was horrendous in the Tampa game. He gave it a good effort in his time back with the Saints, but it just wasn't good enough.

No, he'll be back on the roster for the first PO game.

Is that why hartley screwed the pooch against the bucs? Carney was feeding him misinformation.

He missed tackled his way out of a job.

Re: Mike Mckenzie Cut

I don't like this, and only because we are so thin at CB right now. I agree on the tackling, but from what I understand this isn't the easiest defense to learn, so he's got at least what, five weeks of experience, where as these new guys have NONE. I hope they resign him after the Panthers game. All these player moves, right before the play offs, has got me a little concerned.

Maybe we can hire him as a cornerback consultant. http://209.85.12.234/7361/20/emo/eusa_think.gif

Re: Mike Mckenzie Cut

I think maybe he was cut so they could sign guys for the "pre-season" game against the panthers. This is like a bonus evaluation game. But if not, Thanks MM for all the help!

i'm glad i'm not the only one who noticed that. i mentioned this in another post, more than ready for people to start yelling at me, but, surpriseingly, i didnt get the backlash i expected. (to be honest i was kinda hoping and inviting some, but, oh well)

I'm right with you on this one. Tackling was poor and he's too slow anymore to be a cover guy...especially since he STILL likes to bite on double moves!

Good Luck Mike! That was a hell of a swan song you had against the Pats!

I wouldn't be surprised if Chase gets cut (again) and MM gets resigned...
