Just a note for those out there freaking out over our last three games. When everything is said and done, and the media has put us down and pumped the Cowgirls up. And every analyst is saying we have no chance, please do me a favor and remember that we have Number 9, and the other 7 teams don't.
I'll take Drew going on a three game winning streak anytime. He is going to win the MVP that matters this year. Superbowl MVP.

I'm nervous about bushrod facing another pass rusher like ware or god forbid ware himself and getting own. I have all the faith in brees.

Sorry guys, you need more than Brees to win. If the D doesn't play like it did against the Jets, Giants, Pats and a few other teams, we aren't going anywhere.

Fortunately for us there is only one Ware. Bushrod needed help and the coaches didn't give it to him. Hopefully they are fully awake for the playoffs.

Cowgirls destroyed the Eagles yesterday and the Jets destroyed the Bengals with a run it down your throat till you throw up game plan.

We have a good shot against Arizona and Green Bay.

We need lots of breaks going our way like at the beginning of the season, fumbles, interceptions, plenty of penalties against our opponent.

Protection will be key. Looking at his stats on NFL.com, man, did Brees really fumble 10 times this season? I guess it doesn't feel like it because we recovered 4 of them and it only resulted in 1 lost (didn't fumble in the TB game). But that can't happen in the playoffs.

Having greer and porter as our corners again will allow us to be more aggressive. Gay is a really good nickle corner. I was relieved a little by the performance of the D against Carolina even with backups in. I think it's just a matter of being physical and disciplined. The long run at the beginning of the game was a simple case of over pursuing. Remember how we played the second half of the Miami game? I know we can be solid against the run. I think our boys have been tired and been getting sloppy. Here's to rest!

Well spotted G504. In fact this had been a very bad year for Brees on fumbles:

I disagree with you. In the 3 losses the most points the D gave up was 24. If the O plays like it did in the first 10 games when we were averaging 38 pts we will be fine.

We have Drew and when he is standing in a good pocket he is the best, he's just not as successful when he is flat on his back after being hit from the blind side. Bushrod needs the help and giving him an extra blocker will help with the pass rush but Bushrod has to open some holes for the running game.

I think the entire OLine, including Bushrod, needed a break after not having a bye since week 4. I expect us to be crisp and sharp coming off this week of rest, and I expect us to wear down both lines of the opponent in our first playoff game. I think the whole team needed this bye.

Stated earlier in a post that Bushrod has to get his head out of his arse or needs to be pulled if he continues to have mental problems. I think Psyco is right. We need that defense to come back home and play for keeps. If they are not able to match them shot for shot we lose the momentum which is going to be huge. This teams responds to and plays their best when emotions are running high. Game plan will be huge. Saints are going to show an all out effort. Two more games just two more games.
