Just a note for those out there freaking out over our last three games. When everything is said and done, and the media has put us down and pumped the Cowgirls up. And every analyst is saying we have no chance, please do me a favor and remember that we have Number 9, and the other 7 teams don't.
I'll take Drew going on a three game winning streak anytime. He is going to win the MVP that matters this year. Superbowl MVP.

I'm nervous about bushrod facing another pass rusher like ware or god forbid ware himself and getting own. I have all the faith in brees.

Fortunately for us there is only one Ware. Bushrod needed help and the coaches didn't give it to him. Hopefully they are fully awake for the playoffs.

Cowgirls destroyed the Eagles yesterday and the Jets destroyed the Bengals with a run it down your throat till you throw up game plan.

We have a good shot against Arizona and Green Bay.

We need lots of breaks going our way like at the beginning of the season, fumbles, interceptions, plenty of penalties against our opponent.

Sorry guys, you need more than Brees to win. If the D doesn't play like it did against the Jets, Giants, Pats and a few other teams, we aren't going anywhere.

I disagree with you. In the 3 losses the most points the D gave up was 24. If the O plays like it did in the first 10 games when we were averaging 38 pts we will be fine.

Protection will be key. Looking at his stats on NFL.com, man, did Brees really fumble 10 times this season? I guess it doesn't feel like it because we recovered 4 of them and it only resulted in 1 lost (didn't fumble in the TB game). But that can't happen in the playoffs.

Well spotted G504. In fact this had been a very bad year for Brees on fumbles:

6: The number of fumbles Brees has lost this year. It is the highest total of his career, surpassing the five he coughed up with San Diego in 2005. Better blocking from the tackles would help, particularly Jermon Bushrod, who protects his blind side, but Brees needs to be more secure with the ball. He has 24 fumbles in the last three years while being sacked 48 times, a stark contrast to his 28 fumbles in 108 sacks for his first five full seasons.
