I know this might not happen..but if we do face the cowgirls again..its gonna come down to coaching...Payton has to make adjustments...and the one thing that we must do is RUN THE BALL....thats one thing i think Dallas is weak at..run a two back set with a fullback...a tight end to help on D.Ware and pound the ball at them...Payton has to stay balanced...With that said..the tightend can have a field day also... i saw a lot openings in the middle tonite ..Philly just wanted the homerun..against thier 3-4 D..you have to run and take what they give you...Come on Minny...lol..

On Defense we need to have contained pressure on Romeo and not give up the backside or they will gash us in the running game..thats easier said than done..but havin Fujita and our starting corners back will help..Sharper should be able to roam more and help on the backend..and you have to watch for that damn draw play they run..its effective and teams that overpursue and get out of thier gaps get gashed with it..San Diego layed a blue print on how to beat these chumps..and if you look at that game They did most of what im saying here...Now again go Minny...lol..what do yall think?

My biggest worry is their pass rush...we control that....we win...that simple to me! Our run D needs to play much better as well....but that's a given....we need to control the line of scrimmage!!!!

Yep we need to help Bushrod..and run at them hard... they are set up to come after the Q.B ..if you run at them enough you slow down that pass rush...Philly had no run game tonite so Dallas just pinned thier ears back and came after McChoke..and it worked....

Dallas is more physical than the Saints. Their running game is clicking. With Williams stepping up and with Austin and Whitten playing lights out, their passing game is really good. Their defense can pressure Brees and their secondary is playing very well. All that being said, to beat Philly twice, although their defense is really bad, to beat the Vikings on the road, and to beat a healthy Saints team in New Orleans is an incredible task. If they do it, they certainly will have earned it. One on more positive and side note, the Saints will get the best possible match up next week. The Packers and the Cardinals although very talented, are not physical teams. WHO DAT!

yeah philly's O and D line are terrible. i heard marshall faulk say that yesterday during the game day show on nfln. and he was 100% correct. i agree with u tho, if we can run the ball and somehow control the line of scrimage we should dominate the cowboys if we happen to play them again. no matter who we play, we're goin to be playing a tough defense, cuz i have a feeling green bay is going to win today. they're no slouch on D and neither is minnesota

It can now well happen. Just needs 2 results to go a particular way. The Saints have a big say on one of those results.
Yep SP must call a more balanced offence. But without the right personnel, no amount of coaching will do it. Rightly we are all talking Bushrod. We can only play with what we have. So we have to hope we get some more of our personnel back to allow SP to make effective adjustments.

And I do think Dallas D is more physical than the Saints O, regardless. If we spend all day protecting Brees, then potentially we are doing less for our rushing game. I can see SP deploying a lot of Brees to Bush plays. :hallucinate:

yer lets remember that bush was having quite a game before he pulled his hamstring. they kept trying to match him up against keith brooking, and bush will win that matchup every single time

Yeah Bush could be a key component...if you remember the play he pulled up lame on was right over the middle..the Boyz dont defend that area well and there is yards there..i just think we need to run hard at them and use the play action...WE MUST PROTECT BREES at all cost..

Draws and screens to Reggie will be huge against Dallas IMHO.....exactly what the doctor ordered for that crazed pass rush. I HATE Dallas ...but D. Ware is a BEAST!!!!! He sets the tone for that whole Dallas D....he gets hurt and cant go...Dallas is done in my mind....great great player that guy!!!!

I fully expect Payton to bring a different game plan when and if we meet Dallas. If we can run run run and hit the screens then Drew Can torch them deep. Oh yeah, give Bushrod all the help he needs.
