The Saints have one of the oldest squads in the league. Rest and relaxation is a must at this point. Also, only the healthy would have traveled. Anyone receiving treated were required to stay at home and get daily treatment. Many of the healthy ones stayed at home and did honey-dos and such. Besides, giving the week off is standard for teams getting the bye. Nothing new here.

Other than Sharper, Fujita and Shanle, our starters are all young players.

Yeah we discussed that earlier this season.

Brunnel (39), Carney (45), Kyle (38) and Sharper (34) skew that average way upward.

And there's only 2 years difference between the oldest and youngest team.

Our starters are among the youngest in the league.

Exactly. Subtract the first three, and the average drops about 6 years.
