Another individual award snub....this time Darren Sharper.
Sharper tied for 3rd with Elvis Dumervil. Only three votes? Truly a sign of the media's "What have you done for me lately?" philosophy.

Re: Another individual award snub....this time Darren Sharper.
Sharper has been the glue keeping together the injury riddled secondary.

Re: Another individual award snub....this time Darren Sharper.
Woodson's season is over. Sharper can still get more INT's.
EDIT: The more I think about it, the more I think Revis should have received the award. And why was the vote cast so early anyway? Revis shut down Ocho Cinco last week and all Woodson did other than being constantly abused by Larry Fitzgerald and Kurt Warner was register a fumble. Boo voters! |

Big city teams with a big market get the respect. Nobody knows anything about teams running under the radar.

Re: Another individual award snub....this time Darren Sharper.
Yeah I would have liked Sharper to get the award.
But understand why they went to Woodson and Revis's stats v opposition main receivers so far are extraordinary. I say be miffed about Sharper not getting it but do not read so much into the actual points awarded. No one, Anywhere, thinks Woodson is 9 times better and Revis is 5 times better than our Sharper. Anyways we still have games to go. With help coming back, the media and all will see who is continuing to do good. |
