I think sharper should have been defensive player of the year.

well...i love sharper too...but in all fairness...he wasn't really playing at the same level as he was during the first half of the season. The way these things usually work is if he had played at the end the way he did at the start...he would have had a better chance. You know...people have short memories.

NO.... Without a DOUBT, NO....
Revis had a spectacular year & deserved top 3 DB's in the league, but they hit right on with pick'n (Charles Woodsen)... NOBODY & i meen NOBODY can sit there & say Woodsen did'nt deserve it. If they say he dose'nt deserve it, their just talk'n trash & know inside their heart that Charles earned it rightfully, bottom line.
Im as diehard a $A!NT'z fan as any & My top 3 were Woodsen~Revis & Sharper. That would probably be just about everyone who knows anything's top 3.

Yes, all 3 of them had 9 int's in the regular season & i know Woodsen & Sharper both had 3 pick-6's, cant remember how many Revis had, i wanna say he did too, but i'll have to look it up. Anyway, Woodsen had 8 forced fumbles 7 like 3-4 Fum Recoveries. Also had something like 26-27 or so broken up passes. There's just NO way to argue woodsen winning that award, he really did DEAERVE & thats that.
NOTHING at all against Revis or Sharper. Like i said, im a $A!NT'z fan & would've loved to see Sharper get the award, but when it comes down to honesty & not just pick'n a player, just becuz he's on fav team, "IT IS WUT IT IS!!!

Oh & as far as GREER if he had played the whole season, im not sure if he would've been a STARTER in the PRO-BOWL, but i honestly believe at the minimum he would've made RESERVE-BACK UP. He was extremely liked in the league, becuz of his physical type play & great instinct. He WILL, without a doubt be going to a few PRO-BOWL'z in his bright future, if he continues playing at the level he has been since coming to N.O.!!!

All this link is for is to show that Greer was second behind Revis in burn percentage...thats all...

Re: Greer second only to Revis

Yep. Jabari Greer is in good company. Staggering year for Revis. We all knew about Woodson - didn't we?

Oh about the burn %age. The Jets have a damn good package!
Lowest Burn Percentage Among CBs (Minimum 50 targets)

Player/Team Percentage
Darrelle Revis, Jets 37.0
Jabari Greer, Saints 37.9
Dwight Lowery, Jets 40.7
Drayton Florence, Bills 45.3
Leon Hall, Bengals 45.3
Lito Sheppard, Jets 45.6

"burns," the number of times a defender allows a reception to the man he's covering.

With out a doubt we are a far better team when Greer plays.
