7 POINT FAVORITE?
The Saints are favored by 7, the OU is 57 and almost every talking head has their butt firmly planted on the AZ wagon.
I mean, how much $$$ is Vegas gonna make on this one!!?? If you've bet on N.O. throughout the season you know that early on, the Saints were covering every week - the first 6 games to be exact. (and i was rollin!) Well, Vegas put a stop to that one... Since then the Saints are 2-8 vs the spread and 0-5 over the last 5 games. So if you're laying money - who do you take? Vegas always makes money regardless. They just keep moving the lines to keep betting divided and pick up $1 in every $22 bet don't they?
Anyways back to the subject matter: I though the spread should have started at 5.5. That should increase by .5 or so with confirmed CBs coming back. I would move it again if other Saints come back. Don't think game will be a score fest. AZ will go tight on our WRs and so we will have to be patient with the likes of Bush. Our returning CBs will squeeze Warner's options. |

I would have to go Saints -7. I wouldn't be surprised with a 34-24 or 38-21 type game. That puts it far too close to the over/under line, but easily supports a 7 point cover.

Yea and I take nothing from the Saint,they are a Quality team on both sides,it's just come on it's the second round of the playoffs...there are no "bad" playoff teams in the NFC..7 points just a wee much for me.

i don't understand why the whole freakin world believes that arizona became the overnite scoring kings of the world. your favorite college team would have put up 50 against the packers last sunday,thats how bad there defensive backfield looked. the same with the cards. there going to play the saints different sat. the saints will return to old form putting up at least 31 points. and depending on the defence we play, look if they go to the tapes and look at both cards, 49ers games this year we should know what it takes to stop them, and that said like coach likes to put it. no more than 17-24 points against us. and all this put forth to you my fans even with the higher points it still comes out to ,yes a 7 point spread. u heard it from st thomas.
