Man i hear ya..my son couldnt understand seeing his old man cry..he does now..lol..I really miss my brother..he was my Saints watching buddy..i know he will be looking down this saturday..we both cried that day..

I'm going to sound like a bad fan here, but what was the fullbacks name who recovered that ball? I can't believe I forgot.

I remember that game very well. I came to N.O. for the game, the week before, the last game of the season. I remember Keith Poole getting knocked out, and the entire stadium standing up screaming "OOOOOOHHHHH". It was brutal. Dre Bly. But he got his the next week on a kick off return. Heh heh.

man, i flipped my lid at the game. I wasn't at the game we we came back to the dome for the first time after hurricane Katrina. So, that was my most exciting game. Man it was sweet, because we just lost to them the week before. good times

I hear ya...I remember crying afterwards, too...then I went to my favorite bar on Pearl St. in Boulder where the bartenders all gave me free drinks 'cause they knew that I was a Saints fan. Good times...

As I am currently watching the game, I forgot how much I loved this one...

That was a fun watch but if the Saints get a lead like that on the Cards please don't let them back in the game. Crazy stuff. BTW, I think that it was Corey Harris in #26.

Ah indeed you are correct. Harris must have already made the switch to #40 and McAfee had #26 until the next year. Thomas wore #22 which is why Deuce went with the available #26.
