If this is a "performance" signing instead of a PR/Motivation/Reward move, I have to think it has a lot to do with Deuce's ability to pick up blitzes and perhaps lay a hit or twelve on a certain DE/OLB who wears a star on his helmet that we may likely face next week.
I believe Deuce is a much better backfield blocker/chipper than anyone we have on our roster, IIRC. I think its mostly PR/Reward, but if Bell/Thomas/Bush do get dinged up tomorrow, I can see 26 getting some PT next week. |
