I am listening to 870AM online, and Nicks said both teams are great (vikes, boys), but from a pride standpoint he wants dallas. They asked sharper, and he said- you know who I want!!! They said who, he said you're a smart guy, you know who I want

as fans, I am not sure we care, but if the players want Dallas, and that gives them extra incentive, then I am cheering for Dallas tomorrow

I haven't decided who I want yet. Personally, I hate them both. And not just from this year. I've always hated Dallas because of the whole "America's Team" bullsh*t. And growing up in South Dakota, there are a lot of Viqueens fans in this region, and most of them are total douchebags.

Hard to pick.

I'm here in Dallas and I'd personally love it if they get their arses handed to them tomorrow just so I can say "you didn't even make it far enough".

I honestly think Dallas will be more difficult for us to beat. I don't give a rats a$$ about revenge, rivalry, crappy fans or any of that crap. I want the Vince Lombardi Trophy on the shelf and a ring on Drew Brees' finger. And I think the easiest way to get there is for the Vikes to beat Dallas and us to beat the Vikes. Therefore I'm rooting for Minnesota tomorrow. I doubt that Minni can beat Dallas, but I hope they can.

Me too. I detest the Cowboys. I detest them more than the Falcons! I was disgusted when they beat the Eagles last week and hope that they will be embarrassed tomorrow.

Also, Dilfer and Hoge just picked a Chargers/Cowpukes Superbowl. I hope that the Cowboys get beat badly tomorrow.

Sharper was on the NFL Network a little while ago and he said the same thing. Only there is no doubt that he wants to play the Viqueens. The team who showed no interest in retaining him.

He also laughed at Eisen, Mooch and the always ignorant Michael Irvin for always picking Saints' opponents to score 35 or more on us.

Darren Sharper's "You know who i want" could have gone both ways, it could have been to get revenge on Vikings for not believing in him enough to resign him, or it could be he want to smack the Cowboys up and down the Superdome and ride em' cowboys to the Superbowl.

I respect where you are coming from, but disagree with you.
Minnesota has more explosive players, and we are still susceptible to the big play. Their offense scares me more than Dallas.
Against Dallas our offense played like crap, but the defense hung in there. T.O.P. in that game was 36-24 for Dallas, and for a team that at the time had no depth, that was overwhelming.

Our players want revenge, and that's good enough for me.

ha! yea I'm in iowa so I know the feeling! I'm kind of thinking I want dallas so the viqueen fans will just shut up, and we can get a little revenge on the cowgirls.

My roommate of the past few years is from MN, so a Vikes - Saints NFCC game would make for lots of fun 'round here.
Plus, it seems that every time the Saints and Vikings play in the last several years, the Vikes ended up winning.
I'd love to get some revenge next weekend!!

Here is a question- Dallas has had to play meaningful games- to include week 17 against the Beagles. Could they be a bit tired coming to the dome next week if we get them. Would that be a reason to want them?

i was pulling for the cowdung to lose last week just to see their winless playoff drought continue. but now that its over, i want their 09-10 season to end in the super dome. bring it!

Which ever team gets them the most fired up! IMHO I think we wax Dallas. As poorly as we played against them (without Ellis, Shanle, Greer, Shockey) Reggie tweaked a hamstring, Porter just returning from injury and we still had a chance to beat them. Since the Cowgirls game we have healed and rejuvenated tired and banged up bodies. Sean Payton and Gregg Williams will have a plan to take them out.
