Unsung hero- IMHO
Scott Shanle- I thought the guy played lights out yesterday, and that hit over the middle on (doucette- I think) was awesome.

Re: Unsung hero- IMHO
My unsung hero would be Randall Gay. 7 tackles and a forced fumble that kept the momentum in the Saints favor after their first scoring drive.

yer randall gay played well, the forced fumble was most likely the game changer, set us up with short field and gave the D a swagger they never relinquished

Re: Unsung hero- IMHO
Shanle was non-existent on both rushing TD's.
But that's nit picking. I am just glad he's back. |
Re: Unsung hero- IMHO
All good calls. We had many guys play well for this win. The O line was dominating. Special teams did not have any slip ups. Apart from 2 or 3 plays, overall our tackling was solid. Once Cards caught balls, they went down. I think a big, underated part of it was our WR's performance. Devry had a great play on the quick screen where he shook off the hit behind the line and powered for good yardage. Colston was very solid and made difficult catches for first downs. I think that really made their D unsure, expecially with their injuries.

Re: Unsung hero- IMHO
UNSUNG heroes huh?
Well it is between Gay, Shanle and Porter. As per others, we shut almost all of the plays down real quick thanks to effective tackling. I think Arizona wanted to get Doucet free but our guys checked him, And remember that Shanle did 3 consecutive tackles when Arizona was looking for a way back. But Arizona were stuffed. |

Re: Unsung hero- IMHO
Going with Gay... that forced fumble gave us a huge momentum shift. It was all downhill for the Cards after that.
