Who Does Sharper Want?

in the now infamous video of darren sharper being interviewed by NFL network

they asked him the inevitable question of who he wants to play next

his reply.....

"You know who i want"

so......who does he want?

the revenge of the saints loss against dallas comes to mind....but i really think HE wants the vikings.....i dont think hes happy about how it ended for him in minnesota and the lack of respect he got from the team and the fans there

that is why i picked the vikings....but who does he want?

I think he wants anybody because PAIN is in the future of the opposing offense. I loved that hit on Warner. If you come to our house you're going to get hurt.

I dont think he cares about that because he is a Saint at heart now. I think he wants revenge for all the crap Dallas said before and after

Yeah, I gotta go with Minnesota. It's kind of like the girlfriends who dumped you, you always remember, not the ones you broke up with. Rejection is a mental screw. He wants to kill some Vikings, no doubt about that.

Seems obvious to me...until I think about it. I mean...who would be upset about leaving Minnesota...am I missing something? If you were living on a frozen tundra and somebody offered you more money to go eat po-boys and raw oysters in a tropical climate, would you be upset?

I'm hoping that he wants another shot at Dallas, but it probably is an ego thing. All I know is that the day that I heard the Saints signed DS, I thought 2 things to myself. First, I thought, "What was Minnesota's front office smoking and how could I get some?", and secondly I thought, "Finally, the Saints have become a legitimate franchise and truly appear to want to win more than they want to make money!"

Hope he gets some sleep this week while debriefing Coach Payton and offensive teammates on what to expect from this defense... ; )

We certainly have had enough former players inform on our team's inner workings...

And now they're both trying to return to the Super Bowl for the first time in 12 years.

"It's funny how it can transpire that we have a chance to meet each other to go to the Super Bowl, " Sharper said. "I had a chance to talk to him when he was thinking about going to Minnesota, and I told him, 'Listen, if you go there, you guys have a Super Bowl-caliber team. You've got all the pieces in place.'

"So if we do face off, I might have to renege on my statement........

Dang skippy, Sharper wants to face the Vikings, no doubt. He knows that team very well, and knows Favre's tendencies very well. This is a huge bonus for the Saints.

I don't REALLY think that Sharper cared either way, but to stoke the fire, he went with Minnesota. Honestly, I myself wouldn't care if it was Minnesota Junior High School back there. It's time to knock some freakin heads!

I agree with arsaint. If anybody knows sharper they know he holds grudges. He has one with New York and he has one with Minnesota. They told him he was too old to cover and he has a point to prove to Brad Childress this week
