Any word on Deuce???

Will he be suited up Sunday? Is there any talk of him actually playing? I just can't believe that he was only brought in for "moral boosts" to the team. I mean if that's all he was brought in for, then why not sign Archie Manning, Joe Horn, and Mike Ditka? Ok, maybe not Ditka.........

I could Deuce on short yardage blasting one in. As for the other players you mention Horn could have been a consideration if he hadn't gone over to dark dirty bird side! LOL Hopefully we will see the Manning son in the SuperBowl. As for Ditka, please it's taking years of counseling trying to get that memory out of my head.

I seriously doubt he will dress out. I don't really think he's in playing shape right now. He seems to have put on a few pounds. Still, it was incredible to watch him lead the Saints onto the field.

I agree with poydras. I doubt we see the Deucester in a Saints uni. We should know for sure by Wednesday though.

You know, I was always thought when Deuce lost his lateral ability to injury that he showed as a Rookie that he could move to Tight End and resurrect his career...

Payton joked about the fans thinking Deuce will play. Deuce is 28 pounds overweight.

It was a pretty clear message that he won't play, at all.

But who knows?
