A Viking Prayer
A Vike friend of mine sent this to me. Needless to say, I found it both creative and yet disturbing at the same time. Do these people REALLY think Favre can take them to the promised land? Or is this all just fan bravado?
'Our Favre ther who art in Mississippi, hallowed be thy name. Thy bowl will come, it will be won, in Miami as it is in the dome. Give us this Sunday, our weekly win. Give us touchdown passes, but do not let others pass against us. Lead us not into frustration, but deliver us to the Super Bowl. For thine... is the MVP, the best of the NFC, and the glory of The Purple People Eaters, now and forever. Amen!' :puke: |

Re: A Viking Prayer
I'm a little disturbed by both of them: "Our Favre..." and "Breesus".

Re: A Viking Prayer
Those aren't going help either of us. Wow.

Re: A Viking Prayer
Wow, I thought the Favre prayer was sacreligous- then I saw Breesus lmao

Re: A Viking Prayer
Let's just give it a rest, k? Look what happened to our team when all that "stuff" started up. IMO, I don't wanna make God mad! (Anyway, Drew doesn't like it either)!

Wow, as if listening to Viqueen banter was bad enough, reading that poem made me lose valuable brain cells.

That prayer actually caused me to vomit in my mouth a little bit. I mean its one thing for the Breesus, but to take the Our Father, now thats sacrilegious !!

Re: A Viking Prayer
Well I don't care either way. Two teams, praying to the same God, for the same thing.... What does he do? Flip a coin?
