To all of the Saints Players
 

I don't think I've done this, and I need to! I need to say thank you for the most enjoyable season of football I have ever watched. Thank you for MAKING 14 out of 17 weekends....well, more if you count pre-season. Thank you for the hard work and determination you've put into making this year the best that Saints fans have ever had the privilege to be a part of. Thank you for reaching deep down and finding the inner strength and motivation to keep reaching for the stars and pressing towards the dream. Thank you for playing hard through the aches and pains that I know you have had. Thank you for tolerating so well some of the stupid remarks and negative Nellies that have come your way. Thank you for standing proud in the face of adversities such as injuries, negative press, bad referees, nasty fans in other cities, etc. Thank you for being the winners that you are, no matter what comes your way. This is truly a season to remember......I am so proud of you!!! Do you really know just how good you guys are??? There is no doubt in my mind!

Thanks a bunch, Skymike! I appreciate the welcome! Yep, Conroe is not too darned far from Houston. I'm from West Monroe originally, but transplanted here when I got married 7 years ago! You can take the girl outta Louisiana, but you can't take the Louisiana outta the girl!

Great post Joanie and welcome to B&G! I fully agree that no matter what happens the rest of the way this has been our most magical and exciting season in the club history and the who organization deserves a pat on the back for all the hard work and success.

West Monroe? That's my hometown. I had to get out of there, though. I made it all the way to Ruston. LOL

West Monroe is not that bad, now! I miss home! Of course, you're not far enough away to miss it too much, are you? I go back every so often for family reunions and stuff like that, but my kiddo moved over here to Conroe, parents passed away, so there's no "home" to really go back to. :(

I feel ya there. My mom passed away a couple of years ago, and all that is left around here are my sisters, nephews, and my niece. I'm planning on going to grad school at UNO when I finish up at LA Tech. Gotta be surrounded by more Who Dats. LOL
