New Orleans Saints wide receiver Robert Meachem was able to return to practice Thursday on a limited basis. He had been sidelined with an ankle injury.

It was previously reported that he was unlikely to play Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings in the NFC Championship game, but perhaps his return gave the Saints a glimmer of hope
