25th Straight Sellout
Saints sell out 25th straight home game
Several large local ticket purchases have ensured the New Orleans Saints a 25th straight home sellout -- a streak dating back to an October 2000 game against Carolina. The local blackout of the Sunday game against Houston for television viewers in the New Orleans area was lifted by the NFL and this is very good because it would have been blacked out over here in Biloxi -- :) |
25th Straight Sellout
Saints fans and the community have done a good job supporting the team with the sellouts. A record 25th straight is a feat the organization should be happy with. Season ticket sales have been on the rise even with the year end collapses the past two years. Has the marketing department done a great job or are the fans optimistic with what is now in place with the Saints? You can believe that had the team won against Seattle or even just performed better, the game this week would have sold out by noon on monday. Watch what happens once the winning begins.
One monkey doesn\'t make or break a circus. One loss or one win won\'t make or break a season. Every game is critical as there are only sixteen, but let\'s be reminded that there ARE 16! Winning enough to make the playoffs is what matters. Hey Billy................................... From the text of your post it indicates you won\'t be attending the game and instead will be watching from Biloxi. That\'s O.K. Cool! Not everyone can attend the games. However, if Tom Benson ever read this forum, he would have a limo come pick you up and put you in his suite just to remind him everything would be alright. Stay on the bright side! It reflects your intelligence. |
