Minnesota Vikings receiver Percy Harvin participated in the team's final practice and meetings Saturday and will travel with his teammates to New Orleans for the NFC Championship Game, sources close to the player told ESPN's Ed Werder.

One source said the symptoms Harvin was suffering from with his migraine headaches were less severe but the problem still lingers.

He was listed as questionable on the official injury report but his availability to play remained undetermined.

Harvin, the AP's offensive rookie of the year, missed practice Thursday and was told by coach Brad Childress to remain home Friday. Childress said the missed practice time could not be made up and called the situation "less than ideal."
Harvin is making the trip but it is still to be determined if he will see playing time or to what extent if he is able.

Lets see here...

Saints starters in = wins and/or routes

Saints starters out = close games or losses.

Oh, and those losses came after we had clinched playoffs, then the division, then got HFA.

Starters back = Cardinals dismantled.

Injury smoke screen--why not say a guy with a migraine history has one now ? How can you prove them wrong? Same with their d-line

You don't smoke screen by holding a player out of the most important practice of the season to date. These are game plan practices.

Well, I hope you are wrong about that bro. Because if not, then I guess Shockey won't be a factor either. He hasn't practiced all week.

Well Vikes, let's compare play off stats then. Let's forget the regular season, and look at JUST the play off games. I don't think you are going to want to do that, because in all statistics offensively, we have the edge. And the defensive stats aren't too far apart either.

Much different position duty. Payton has already said that Shockey knows this offense. Harvin, much like Bush, plays a hybrid in special sets and alignments.

I don't think lack of practice, at this point in the season is that much of a deciding factor, no matter what your position. These guys know the plays by now. Any changes will be a hybrid of the same plays. It won't take him long to adjust.
