Re: Thomas Morstead
He's a great kid! I'm glad we picked him up!
Oh yeah, and we're buds on Facebook too! :D |
Re: Thomas Morstead
I think his foot and leg is not made of human material and we may have hired a bionic leg kicker in Moorestead

Re: Thomas Morstead
ok I am sold on him.

Re: Thomas Morstead
He sure was booming dem punts. 63 yards for his longest on is not shabby at all with an average of 49.1.
Harvins longest Kickoff return was 17 yards and that tells you Morstead had quite some height on his kicks. |

Thomas Morstead - Solid, solid as a rock

Re: Thomas Morstead
I've been impressed with Thomas (Morestead) all year! He is solid, and hardly ever disappoints! I couldn't believe those bombs to the back of the endzone last night! Our guests, (who are not big fans of any team), made the comment that we had an awesome kicker! And we do! As far as Garrett's field goal, I couldn't even watch. I was in the kitchen praying with my head down on the counter, and when I heard the "thud" sound, I knew it had gone through the posts! (I think it went through with angel's wings)! Whew....what a game!

That guy could work for NASA and kick football shaped satellites into space, is my guess.

Re: Thomas Morstead
I posted to the MVP thread before I say this one. Without a doubt he is our top draft pick and should have been considered for rookie of the year IMHO. He is worth everything we gave for him. When he kicked that 63 yrd. punt I had flash backs to another 63 ys. kick in Saints history . . . Tom Dempsey"s.
