Saints detroyed an NFL Stat today that no one talked about yet.
No one on NFL network talked about it yet, no one on Fox, no one on ESPN no one on SI, no one CBSsports..
Saints did something no NFL team has done before.. Lose the last 3 games of their Regular NFL season and go to the Superbowl.. You probably wont hear anyone talk about it for a week or so because they are still in shock status that Brett Favre out and they have to toss all of their stories and crap they had prewritten, and destroy all of the video footage they had ready to drown us all in for 2 weeks that revolved around the story of Brett favre.. Now they have to talk about Colts and Saints!.. they have no choice, these are the two teams the Media could careless about now they "HAVE" to take us seriously. |

But thats a non stat to begin with. You could make up all kinds of stats like that and most all of them will have no actual meaning for the outcome of the game.

It did my little heart good to see Brett and Childress whining at the end of the game. Of course, they spent more "media time" on their whining than they did concentrating on our guys! How biased! They're pathetic!

Crusader you are right of course. Reminds of SP interview when he was ripping the media about FACTS and TRENDS. Forever, we have had STATS which are not STATS but stuff that hasn't happened yet like no one has ever got lyme disease who has dipped their beignet in their gumbo. |

when a team makes the super bowl for the first time you have to throw history out the window because it has never happened before
there isnt a single stat that can sum up the season for the saints because we've won so many times with so many different ways there isnt a team in the past that can compare to us because our defense is so opportunistic and our offense is so crazy good history is bein written now the great mike ditka said on ESPN the other night, "yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift.....thats why they call it the present" |

The talking heads will make up a bunch more crap over the next two weeks so get ready. We are already being written off after not being written in to the Superbowl. I hope we destroy Indy the way we did the other big names: NYG, NE. Good fundamentals will get us there.

Now we will have 8 more months of "Is Brett going to retire". After the act he put on after being hit by Mcray, screw Brett Favre. I hope the Vikings decide next August right before their opening game to get him back, they deserve each other.,

Not sure what the pants on the ground record was prior to the Vikings bowling for touchdowns approach to a game, but I'd like to personally thank them for having fumblitis. Brett's last throw for the last three teams he played for was an INT. I like that stat.

Did anyone else notice how little protection Favre had most of the game?
It's almost like the Vikings were telling him "all right Mr. grandstanding egotistical QB, protect your own self!!" Or do you think I am off-base here? It just seems like he got hit A LOT. If Brees got slammed that many times, I'd be yelling at his Offensive line for not protecting his ass. |

Well NFL Network finally acknowledged this stat.
They just reported that we are the first team to go to the Super Bowl after losing our last three games! We're making history all over the place! Who Dat! |

Here's another stat that we went against I noticed as I'm updating my Saints history website.
The Saints had never won a playoff game on a Sunday before the NFC Championship game. We were previously 0-4 in Sunday playoff games (3-2 in Saturday playoff games). |
