Sick of this
Upon closer inspection, does this really look like a blown call???
http://images.cbssports.com/u/photos...mg12837580.jpg the rule says below the knee. Looks like that shoulder is above the knee, into the thigh, and the other shoulder not touching the calf. The hit was initiated high, not low. The Ref GOT IT RIGHT. Spread the word, stop the BS and the whinging. |
Re: Sick of this
Not anymore than the blown call when Hargrove(I think) had the flag thrown for a clean hit earlier in the game that gave them a first down.

Good Call. I think that rule was the Brady rule and was intended to keep people from breaking knees from the front. |

Re: Sick of this
Please tell me you are not such a tool that you think the hit you've shown was premeditated or intentional. Sure they were getting after the QB, but
anyone who thinks guys are out to hurt people must be a Steeler fan. Chit happens at a million miles per hour. You ever play football up there at Princeton? Don't whine about something like that hit. They happen every game, damn near to any team. Ever notice how many opposing players look disgusted when anyone gets hurt? Very few have true ill will. Those days are pretty much gone except in Pittsburgh, according to NFL players. Heck, they'll often group together from BOTH teams and kneel to pray while the injured player is being looked at on the field. Seen it dozens of times. There is a lot of stuff I am sick of too. No need to make up stuff. BTW, there were FAR worse blown calls on BOTH sides. |
