Where to watch the game in N.O.???
 

My wife & I are driving from Lafayette to watch the game in N.O. I want to spend our money locally and keep N.O. pumping. Why spend $$$$$ in Miami when I can drink & watch with thousands of my fellow die-hards??

(Actually, if I could afford it, I'd be in Miami already partying)

Anyway, we're staying in the Quarter, any advice on where to watch the game?

Voila is a good place in my opinion. Food and drink specials, large HDTVs, right in the thick of things, too.

If you look on-line, reviews are 50/50, but I have had no problems.

Also, I will probably get flamed for this, but I have been to Gordon Biersch for a game or two as well. I know it's a chain and you tend to lose that "local flair", but the food's not bad, it's big and clean, if you go ya gotta get some of those garlic fries...they are the shi--!

I know Cooter Brown's Uptown is dope. I've heard the Absinthe House is fun on Bourbon. I will be at a house party Uptown near St. Charles and Napolean, but I my hotel is right next to the House of Blues, so WHEN we win I will high tail it downtown to party the night away on Bourbon St.

I can't wait. 7 Days until I leave for NOLA. So this is why I work my ass off for months at a time.
