Re: Listen to These Goofballs...and Then Laugh!
They don't think we will even score 20 points? Wow, what team have they been watching all year. Even when our A game doesn't show, like it didn't Sunday, we still put up 31. WTF, bunch of talking heads.
|
Re: Listen to These Goofballs...and Then Laugh!
Amen, that's why I said "laugh!" I think they've been buried in paperwork or something whilst the rest of us have been watching the games all season!
|
Re: Listen to These Goofballs...and Then Laugh!
I'm not surprised. When has a talking head ever had anything intelligent to say??
Garbage. |
Re: Listen to These Goofballs...and Then Laugh!
I can't even finish listening to those clowns......no credibility at all, just 3 colts fans giving their opinions
|
Re: Listen to These Goofballs...and Then Laugh!
Yeah, like, who are they trying to convince? Sounds like themselves!!!
|
Re: Listen to These Goofballs...and Then Laugh!
These guys never got closer to football than when they were playing 3rd string trombone in Jr High, sitting in the stands, eating pickles and picking their noses wishing they could get some time with the cheerleaders but knowing full well pigs would fly first. What a buncha rubes...

Yeah, who the hell are we to be even on the field. That "Brett Favre" love by the media is now being shifted to "how can anyone cope with Payton Manning?"
As I recall, the Colts didn't score at will this season, good pass defenses held them down. When was the last time they met an offense as sophisticated as NO? When Belichik/Brady handed them a win in week 10, before that it was the Cardinals in week 3. Houston has a productive offense, but they played mostly horrid teams, just like the Colts, where they feasted on the dregs of the AFC and NFC. I'm only saying that if they were so unstoppable, why did they average 6 points less than the Saints while only giving up 2 points less on defense. Assuming each played about the same difficulty level schedule, then there should be at least a "chance" that we could win the game. And who's this Greer guy - #2 corner in the NFL. He sucks. Won't/can't stop anyone, much less Reggie Wayne. Yeah, we're going to get blown out. Yup. |
Re: Listen to These Goofballs...and Then Laugh!
Nose Pickers

Re: Listen to These Goofballs...and Then Laugh!
They've probably all bet money on the game, and I hope they all go broke paying off their bets!

Re: Listen to These Goofballs...and Then Laugh!
wow they are giving indy's defense ALOT of credit. yeah their are good at stopping the run. but we really are a passing team. and im not worried about them gettin to brees at all since we jus pretty much containd the best pass rush in the league(vikings) for 4 qtrs. and i'll predict that garcon and collie both fumble at least once. this colts team is not invinsible. i dont see the greatness outside of peyton manning. im sorry

Re: Listen to These Goofballs...and Then Laugh!
i guarantee the vikings fans thought they were better than Indy......so if we are better than the vikings, then we are clearly better than indy
has indy faced an offense like ours yet? NO.....our offense is the best in the league for a reason......#4th ranked passin offense....#6th ranked running offense they are very good at shuttin down 1 element in a team for instance.....they shut down the run very well against the jets and ravens.....but there wasnt the threat of a passing game....and when there was, sanchez took advantage of their defense against the #1 ranked passin offense in houston, they didnt have to worry about their 30th ranked rushing offense the closest offensive ranking to us is the patriots.....they beat the pats on a last second play but the pats were blown out by our offense and defense the colts have no way to control the ball because all they do is pass the ball i have no idea why people that support the idea of defense and the running game are pickin the colts over us.....they are not better at running than us and their defense allows less than 2 points per game less than us all year its been, "can the saints defense stop them?".......in reality it shouldve been "can the saints offense be stopped?" |
Re: Listen to These Goofballs...and Then Laugh!
ON ANOTHER NOTE.....our offense played pretty poorly and still put up 31 on the vikings defense
how do you think we are going to do after a bye week? so far this year we are averaging 46.5 points per game after bye weeks we are only giving up 20.5 points per game after bye weeks i know im not very good at math but i know that 46.5 > 20.5 by a little less than 4 TDs |
Re: Listen to These Goofballs...and Then Laugh!
oh and 1 more thing......we were held to less than 20 points only 3 times the entire season.....1 of those times was in a game where we didnt play our starters
so of the 2 that we didnt score over 20 points.....we faced the 2nd ranked defense in points allowed and the 27th ranked defense in points allowed but the 10th ranked defense in pass yards allowed the colts allow 20 point per game and they havent played the #1 offense in the league yet the colts are ranked 14th and 24th in pass defense and run defense respectively.....why wont we be able to move the ball? in the playoffs we faced the 2nd ranked team in points scored and the 11th ranked team during the season we faced the 5th, 6th, 8th, and 14th ranked offenses in the league and lost to the only one that could control the ball THE COLTS DONT HAVE A RUNNING GAME.....so while they may score, they cant help but do it quickly or not at all |
Re: Listen to These Goofballs...and Then Laugh!
What a score to a SB upset/beat down
Saints 46 - Colts 20 |
Re: Listen to These Goofballs...and Then Laugh!
oh and another thing.....they said that we dont have a darrelle revis to stop reggie wayne but again.....jabari greer allowed the 2nd least catches per times targeted in the league....RIGHT BEHIND DARELLE ****ING REVIS
|
Re: Listen to These Goofballs...and Then Laugh!
I'm going to run down what the Saints have done against #1 receivers on a team when both Porter and Greer have been healthy.
Week 1, Calvin Johnson: 3 rec., 90 yards (one was a big one for 64 yards early on; other than that, relatively quiet.) Week 2, DeSean Jackson: 4 rec. 101 yards (one big 71 yarder early....again relatively quiet after Week 3, Lee Evans/Terrell Owens: I'll throw both in there since they are about equals at this point in their respective careers. Combined for 4 rec and 31 yards. Oh, yeah. That was all Lee Evans since T.O. didn't catch anything but cold. Week 4, Jerricho Cotchery: 5 catches, 71 yards. Decent game, but nothing major. Only two other receivers had more than one catch in that game. Week 6, Steve Smith: 4 rec, 44 yards. Shut down all day long. Hakeem Nicks had the best game of the Giants receivers with 5 rec, 114 yards. However, 3 rec, 102 yards and a score from DAVID CARR came when the game was already well out of reach. Week 7, Ted Ginn, Jr.: 2 rec, 16 yards. Manhandled all day. Their leading receiver was Brian Hartline with 3 rec for 94 yards. One big pass play of 67 yards. Week 8, Roddy White: 4 catches, 108 yards. The only TD scored on either Porter or Greer ALL YEAR! Not going to whine about the non-call for offensive pass interference. Other than that play, they held White to 3 catches and 40 yards. Now we skip to the playoffs. This is the first game that really mattered where Greer/Porter played in the secondary together because they were both healthy Larry Fitzgerald, Cardinals playoff game: 6 rec, 77 yards. Didn't get his first catch until late in the 2nd quarter. They shut down the scoring machine. Never even sniffed the end zone. Finally.... Sidney Rice, Vikings playoff game: 4 rec, 43 yards. This guy had a field day against the Cowboys the week before and the media said their secondary was better than ours? Riiiiiiiiiiiiiight. I know stats before this game don't mean a thing, but I did all that research to say all this. The Saints' corners have relatively silenced most #1 receivers all season. The proof is there. In those 10 games listed above, the #1 receivers were limited to 36 receptions for 581 yards and ONE TD! That's it! One friggen' score! This averages out to be 3.6 receptions at a 16.1 yard per catch clip and 58.1 yards per game. Reggie Wayne is an elite receiver but he is not Superman. He was on my fantasy team, so I know of quite a few games where he was a non-factor. I know Peyton has the ability to make his other receivers better, and I'm not taking anything away from Dallas Clark, because he is the best receiving TE in football. However, his next two targets are both rookies and have yet to face the ball-hawking style of defense that the Saints secondary plays. I stress again....ROOKIES! Their nerves are going to be through the roof on the grandest stage of them all. Mistakes can be forced. I'm not projecting a win. I'm not even going to predict a score this time. This game scares me more than any we have played yet, mainly because Peyton Manning is behind center on the other side. However, I do think that the Saints can play the same style of ball-stripping defense to cause turnovers that they have done all year. The Colts may win this game, but it WILL NOT be easy. *Edit* In short, contain Wayne, have Vilma and Harper clog up the middle against Clark, and the other two rookie receivers will make mistakes. If this happens, we will win. |
Re: Listen to These Goofballs...and Then Laugh!
Guys all this talk doesn't mean didly! We have had to listen to this crap all year! These people have no Idea how good the Saints are. No one is giving us a chance to win this game and you know what, I wouldn't have it any other way! Bring it on baby! Come superbowl Sunday the world will see!

Why listen except to laff.

Re: Listen to These Goofballs...and Then Laugh!
Yeah St thomas I noticed that too, looked like he just came off a bender. You know according to those guys maybe The Saints should just stay home. Maybe we can just forfeit the game now and save everyone from wasting their time. LOL Remember what Dirty Harry said Quote-
"Well, opinions are like axxholes... everybody has one." |
Re: Listen to These Goofballs...and Then Laugh!
Guys, seriously, this started, after we lost to the Cowboys. Ever since then, all the experts have picked us to lose every game since. We should all be used to it by now. This kind of garbage used to bother me too, but believe it or not, I think it was a comment Euphoria made, about power rankings, that made me think about it, and come to my senses.
Analysts talk, reporters talk, writers talk, that's what they do. Their job, is to find controversy, in ANYTHING. You will not see to many of these guys on our side brothers, and sisters, so get used to it. Winning it all, is the only thing, that will shut them up. Because guess what? If we don't win, then get ready to hear how, "we shouldn't have been there in the first place", "the vikings were the better team", and "this year was a fluke." Are any of these things true? Absolutely not, but they will say it anyway, because that's what they do. To hell with them. Let's just enjoy the ride, and say screw em. |
