I want to understand the bearing of this rule on us.

His Free-Agent agreement is up for the most part after the SuperBowl. Hows does the NFL 2010 Final 8 rule Free-agent Rule apply to him? Can we not resign him? Is he gone after this season because we can not sign a free agent?

Ok I just read where we can resign him:

From what I have read, he can not leave at the end of his 4 year contract. He has to automatically sign a 2 year extension.

I was wrong he has a 5 year contract.

Who is under a first 4 year contract than will have an auto 2 year extension?
