Seattle DJ rips Saints and Katrina
When it all boils down to it, it's been four and a half years since Hurricane Katrina hit the Southeastern portion of the United States virtually destroying everything in its path. There are many bad memories and images that we all can't forget about and will never be able to fully put behind us. But maybe it's time to stop putting all of our focus on the natural disaster.
The New Orleans Saints are on their way to the first Super Bowl in franchise history. In the matter of one week, they'll be playing the Indianapolis Colts for the right to call themselves the world champions. Talent, hard work, great coaching, and a host of other things led to a 13-0 record to start the season and two playoff victories for a right to play in Miami in Super Bowl XLIV. Yet people are still saying that this is all because of Hurricane Katrina. Oy.
There is an audio clip where you can hear Seattle radio personality Dori Monson rip on the Saints and also classify Katrina as just "some rain storm."
