My perspective is you have to consider the source.

I'm one of those folks who isn't a boob tube fan. I've always found television programming to be a bit... daft. Truly drivel. Sorry, but that is
how I've felt for a long time so bazillions of people watching oprah won't change that. Same deal with Mickey D's. Just because they've
server 89 gazillion "burgers" doesn't make their food cuisine.

</analogy>

Merely my take on the matter. The drivel that many of the networks
put out as "news" or "sports news" is nothing but demographic targeted infotainment.

They consider Miami and Atlanta more important demographic$.
Didn't work out as far as which teams go to the super bowl. Oh well.

What you must realize is they serve it up because the masses watch.

Anyone ever hear of McLuhan? The media IS the message. Damn that ain't a pretty picture, is it.

Get it now?

They are dumbasses. Just because they put a camera in front of them doesn't change that reality. Just say neaux to hollyweirdos.

I liked the weather channel for a while but I noticed even they've turned velveeta on us.

Re: Mccray fined for hit on the diva

If you look at the McCray hit (on the end around) at FULL speed instead of semi slow motion like they always show it you can really see what a BS call that was.

The low hit would have been a legitimate call if they had made it. They also fined Hargrove for the hit that drew his penalty. It was bordelone at most and probably shouldn't have been called and certainly didn't deserve a fine. That call saved their TD drive but you'll never here anyone whining about that on ESPN.

I say **** em all. Just win.

Some one a few pages back out that the NFL doesn't allow that.

It would me 3 or 4 months to make $20k, but I'd still gladly pay it.
