Go ask them why they don't have an ESPNzone stationed permanently in New Orleans and have one in Atlanta and Miami, Yet the Superdome has probably provided them with their highest ratings ever, not to mention New Orleans is a deep sports town

My perspective is you have to consider the source.

I'm one of those folks who isn't a boob tube fan. I've always found television programming to be a bit... daft. Truly drivel. Sorry, but that is
how I've felt for a long time so bazillions of people watching oprah won't change that. Same deal with Mickey D's. Just because they've
server 89 gazillion "burgers" doesn't make their food cuisine.

Merely my take on the matter. The drivel that many of the networks
put out as "news" or "sports news" is nothing but demographic targeted infotainment.

They consider Miami and Atlanta more important demographic$.
Didn't work out as far as which teams go to the super bowl. Oh well.

What you must realize is they serve it up because the masses watch.

I liked the weather channel for a while but I noticed even they've turned velveeta on us.
