Senior Bowl

Is anyone watching and if so, who are you looking at as a possible pick up with the #32 pick in the draft?

Same here........Usually at this time the board is filled with mock drafts and obscure college players, that is why I asked. It felt odd to not be talking about the draft.

hey everyone personally, from the scouts reports, alot of db's have been playing really well. If jenkins would eventually make the move to safety, id like to bring a nickel corner in. Seen as randall gay isnt in the prime of his career. If we had another shut down corner at nickle back, no one would be able to pass on us

Sharper isn't getting any younger and I really like that Myron Rolle kid. He's got a high football IQ, good leadership skills, and most importantly, he can ball. If our organization doesn't feel Young or Jenkins is our FS of the future, I'd like for us to take a long hard look at him.

Couple of good quarterbacks in my opinion that if they're there, I'd love to have them in the mid round. Tony Pike is a guy I've been fond of for a couple of years and Dan LeFevour is another. Pike is a tall lengthy kid who can throw darts all over the field. LeFevour is great on his feet with good pocket presence... and he has a nice arm to go along with that.

Guys like Brandon Graham, Jared Odrick, Cam Thomas, and Sean Witherspoon (all front 7 defense) have gotten nice reviews. I'd like to see what they're all about as you can never have enough help there. A guy that has seem to fallen off the map is George Selvie... I wouldn't mind taking a look at him as a mid round pass rushing specialist. He had a down here at USF this past season, but he's been known to be a talented playmaker in the past. It'll also be interesting to see how Taylor Mays transition as an OLB.

A lot of guys are saying Mays is going to drop, Does anyone want him and then keep Jenkins at CB

I think we need another Dback or Offensive Line

Re: Senior Bowl

I don't see Rolle falling to our pick, but if I am wrong.......LOOK OUT! This guy IS the next Darren Sharper. So smart, even more athletic than he was last year. I do like this kid. He is a Sean Payton guy too.

Pike is my late round QB. I am not sure what our plan is with Daniels, but with the old man probably retiring this year Backup QB has become a need and Pike looks a lot like Brady did when he came out.

I knew I could count on Papz!

Don't really want Tebow, but it will be nice to see what he can do.

Brandon Graham. Wow.

Hey, there are Vanderbilt and LA Tech guys playing for the North? What is that about? Not enough players up in snow land or what?

Graham MVP... with the way he's been performing all week to go along with the game, too bad he won't be there for us. He would have made a nice addition replacing Grant.

We need 4 DT's and 2 LB's. What are the options?

Sean Weatherspoon mentioned thet he could play outside. He has a huge mouth though. Lamar Houston looked pretty good inside as did Dan Williams. They will most likely both be gone though.

I'm just glad a LA Tech guy was there. I've been watching D'Anthony Smith all year. I think he would be a solid mid- to late round pick-up. He has a non-stop motor and pretty good burst on the pass rush.

Yeah he looked pretty solid. Didn't really see any amazing plays from him but he seemed to keep his ground.

Other standout D-linemen to me were Geno Atkins from Georgia and Tyson Alualu from Cal. Either could be available at the #32 spot.

On offense Jacoby Ford from Clemson and Jeremy Williams form Tulane looked solid catching the ball. LeGarrette Blount from Oregon was easily the best back and of course Mardy Gilyard from Cincy was the MVP of the game.

Tebow stunk it up. I don't like his upside at all. The QBs who were slightly impressive was LeFevour from Central Michigan and Zac Robinson from OK State. I think those two are the best of the senior class with Pike close on their heels.

I'm going with Defensive End. Grant needs to go. He's too slow, and not living up to that contract. From their, on needs, I go DT, DB, and then RB. Considering Bush might not be here next year.

Re: Senior Bowl

I think Tebow should switch to tight end. He's got the size, and the running ability. Fullback maybe too, but he might be too big for that.
