that was friggin awesome seeing those two great competitors side by side doing a halftime interview w/ chris berman. i loved how they both complimented each other and eachothers teams, but, at the same time drew brees just had this fiery look about him. there was this ultra-competitive stare he was giving manning like he would fight him right there if they wanted him to. haha. it was like breesus was sitting there thinking, "IM GONNA COME AT YOU LIKE A SPIDER MONKEY OLD MAN!!!"

HAHA! Yeah, he does. After I saw him interviewed on the sidelines before the game, I set as my status on Facebook that you could land a 757 on his forehead. That thing is HUGE!

Aww! :D I was so excited seeing two of my favorite quarterbacks, side by side, talking each other up. I was glued to the tv, their entire interview!

That forehead is a result of that enormous brain he's got. I think he's pshycic! I thought they both looked like they were ready to just throw down right there. They didn't seem really comfortable sitting next to each other. It was kind of like when two kids get into a fight, and they HAVE to make friends afterwards. I don't know, maybe it was just me.

no, u are right. i felt the same tension. seemed like peyton was affraid to look drew in the eyes. drew was jus mean mugging him the entire time. lol. awesome!

I noticed the look on Brees's face as well. I told my pops, when Burman asked about thier SB predictions, Brees looked like he wanted to jump up throw the headgear at Manning and yell, "We're gonna stomp your arse. Boom, that just happened!!"

I just think they didn't want to do the interview, they already didn't want to travel away and miss traveling to the Spot of the Superbowl without their teammates, Some players actually consider traveling with their team a superstitious thing, it's like when your walking with your friends and no one in the group can break the circle by letting something cross between them, they all have to follow the same trail..
Some players are even deeply superstitious about it.
But probably in this case, these players just were getting off the plane and didn't want to be bothered after finding out they were forced to go waste time at a Pro bowl game they have no interest in and shoot photo's.
you saw how the colts reacted to it, they kinda over-reacted to the whole station but you could see the frustration on Brees face as well standing on the sidelines in a meaningless game thats even more meaningless with him just standing there to be a photo op.
Then to be whisked away for a interview (thats required) during pro bowls that probably boiled his blood a little but he'll get paid for it all in the long run, at least by showing up they'll still be compensated.

Man you could see the height difference when they're sitting side by side. And with their windbreakers on, it looked like I was watching ESPN interview Steve Nash (Brees) and Dirk Nowitski (Manning)
