The list keeps getting smaller!
 

Over the past few years... it's been fun to see teams like the Panthers, Seahawks, Cardinals, etc. make their first trip to the Super Bowl. Now that the Saints will have their first trip to the Super Bowl this Sunday, that only leaves four teams that haven't been there.

Cleveland Browns
Jacksonville Jaguars
Detroit Lions
Houston Texans

Although It was years before the Superbowl
the Lions and Browns did win championships.

And as for the Jaguars and Texans. Thay are relatively new franchises.
Considering the Panthers a newer franchise bypassed this...
and made a Suprbowl appearence. Heck even the Ravens did??
Are they considered the Browns part two??

The Saints to me are truely last on the list.

Amen Bolts. It's great to get outta that list. Who Dat! If the Saints ever again get a playoff loss I will pull for the remaining four. :-D

True. The Texans have only been around for eight years, so that's understandable.

Though with your analogy on the Ravens, you can almost say the same thing for Houston... considering that the Tennessee Titans were once the Houston Oilers.


Chargers have won an AFL Championship but it's not the same thing.
Thanks for the added knowledge on the Browns and Lions.

Yup... it felt great for me in 94 but the only thing that sucked is that I knew we didn't have a chance of winning it. The 49ers were wayyyy too good.

The Lions or the Browns. Both franchises are long overdue.

Once that list is over with a new list will start, first everybody at least makes a superbowl appearance, then which teams have actually "WON" a superbowl.
Then teams with the most superbowl appearances, then most superbowls, then team with the most pro bowlers going into the superbowl, they can go on forever with this, but for now Saints are off the "Aint Never been to a Superbowl List"

The Browns are a new franchise too. They were an expansion team what? 8 years ago? Same as when the Texans came into the league?

Jags have been tough for quite a while... just can't quite get over the hump. They were the bottom of the AFC South this year at 7-9.

I know right!!! Growing up in New Orleans The Cub's where the only team on tv thanks to good ole WGN. I have been a Cub's fan since the early 80's.

Needless to say you can imagine that pain lol.....Cub's and a SAINTS fan???? BRUTAL !!!!! Now that NO is off the snide it's now the Cub's turn!:D
