'Who Dat' goes International - Who Dat? America's National Football League causes outrage over catchphrase ban
From The TimesOnline
February 3, 2010 For decades America’s National Football League paid little attention to the chants of “Who Dat?” from fans of the New Orleans Saints, as the team stumbled from one losing season to the next. “Who Dat? Who Dat? Who Dat Say Dey Gonna Beat Dem Saints?” crowds would chorus in a display of false bravado, masking the unspoken reality that just about everybody beat the downtrodden club. Now, after breaking a 43-year run of bad luck to win a place at this weekend’s Super Bowl, the NFL’s multi-billion dollar corporate machine has taken a sudden interest in the "Who Dat catchphrase" claiming that it owns the rights to its usage. It has even issued “cease and desist” notices against small-time souvenir vendors for using the words on T-shirts and demanding royalties on their profits. Read the article here and watch the video. I got a laugh out of listening to these people say "Who Dat" :D Who Dat? America's National Football League causes outrage over catchphrase ban - Times Online |

I love the fact that Ying Yang Twins (Which are born and raised in Atlanta and are admittedly long loved Falcon fan's can take in stride that Saints fans took one of their old songs and made it into a Saints fan Fight song ), then as Saints become more and more successful you now see that Ying Yang Twins removed their Falcons Jewelry off of them and no longer wear Red and Black anywhere on them and always have a Saints Jersey on..
One of them even dyed his beard and braids with a lil bit of Blond in it giving it that black and gold look lol Funny how things play out.. Falcons like to take our old players, Saints fans take Atlanta's Music artist lol |

And i can't blame those people either, Atlanta is a Transient city, all the people there are in and out the next semester. When Lil Wayne was cheering for Vikings to win, all the Saints fans Ridiculed him, But you have Ying Yang Twins (one of Atlanta's big artist a while ago) and once always had Something falcons related on them during shows, now on the who dat wagon and you don't hear any Falcon fans complaining lol.. Their team loyalty is as good as toilet water. |
