Edit...The way I see it is this. If so many Louisianians can still hate Archie and the Mannings because he is from Mississippi and played for Ole Miss and still be a Saint fan , then it is OK for me, a Mississippian, to hate Hebert...and I feel I have a better reason.

The only thing I can say is that any Saint fan that still likes Hebert just couldn't have been a Saint fan back when he held-out and ultimately went to Atlanta and put the dagger in when he flew off the field. How can you forget that? I don't care if his beef was with the FO and not the fans...his actions cost us dearly and I just can't get over how he acted throughout all that. I don't think it was any coincident that he held out after Mora announced that "Johnny B. Goode" was gonna be the starting QB the following year.

Yeah, but how many ex Saints players ended up in Atlanta? Morten Anderson, Hebert, Joe Horn. There has been alot more than this over the years, who took off to the enemy's sideline. I like Bobby, and Archie.

Bobby left because Saints didn't want to pay him enough money, the NFL is a business, no hard feelings, he didn't say anything bad toward the fans like Joe Horn yet Joe still get unconditional love after suiting up (*recent) with Falcons and in the Atlanta Constitution newspaper said something along the lines of "Saints fans being backstabbers and bandwagoners and that Atlanta Fans are true fans of their team.
It may have been a publicity stunt to sell some Jerseys in Atlanta but that hurt. it's going to take a while to forgive him but eventually i will.

Heberts a flamboyant character and as you see in the video it never changed, (probably why his wife left him as well) he hasn't grown up.. but thats just him..
I think he's pretty cool.. Hell we have a Heated Rival (Falcon fans) in Ying Yang Twins song being played in our Superdome to get us all pumped up. lol.

There are Saints fans who hate Archie??? Now, that's just plain wrong.

As for Bobby, I like him because he is a fan and isn't afraid to be one. When he left for Atlanta, he left because he wasn't gonna get paid what he felt he was worth. I don't remember him bashing the state or fans. It was strictly business.

Players going to play for the arch-rival happens a lot in the NFL...I mean, why not go grab a player who gave you fits on the other sideline? We did the same thing with Michael Haynes and Jim Everett...

Yes, the flying Falcon was ....well, crappy. I still love the guy. He is, without a doubt, a Saints Fan. I love Archie as well... but Bobby is a Saints fan through and through. He cares as much for this team as we do...more, because he was the capitain of the team he really does love.

I forgave Bobby for "flying"....I haven't forgotten it.... but I have forgiven him for it.
