My X-factor
Alot of talk about x-factors in Sunday's game, and I have one, that it seems every so called analyst hasn't seen, now, or all year, in my opinion. The Saints downfield blocking. This, to me, has been the reason for our success running the ball this year. Our receivers are very good blockers, creating holes in the middle of the field. I'm sure some Colt fan is going to say, that their receivers are better at this, in fact I will bet on it, but being that their running game is what, 22nd, I don't see how they can say this.
Combine this with our O-line, and in my mind, this COULD be the x-factor, and also the difference in the game Sunday. |
Re: My X-factor
We got a much better running game than Indy ... it'll get and keep their "vaunted" 18th ranked defense off balance all game, with or without Freeney.

Re: My X-factor
All BS aside. I hope we learned how to tackle in the last two weeks. We would be no where near as high as we are on giving up yardage if we would Stick-wrap... This feaux bounceoff spear crap just does not cut it in the NFL.

whoever gets Dallas Clark in coverage

Re: My X-factor
Stopping Dallas will be key to slowing down the Colts.
The four man rush will have to get to Manning. Speedy LB's and DB's are best. Let's Geaux!! |

Re: My X-factor
Tackling has sucked in the NFL for years. When did it become about hitting & not tackling??

X-Factor...Mike Bell all day. He is fresh and a downhill runner no one is talking about.

Re: My X-factor
My x-factors are the tight ends, Shockey and Clark. We need Shockey to step and be effective early. Great things happen when Drew can hit Shockey several times on our first and second drives. Clark is dangerous. His presence allows the Colts to really spread the field.
