I enjoyed that read...bringing mudbugs to Miami reminded me of a story.

Somehow my kids found a creek in Corona, CA with mudbugs in it. They caught a bunch of them and brought them home for me to see. Since we had previously lived in Louisiana, they were all too familiar with them and wanted me to cook them. I told them they were crazy...and to get rid of them.

About a year later, I went across the street to the driving range at the golf course, and when I got finished at the range, I went down by the pond to grab a ball that I saw down there. When I got down there, I was amazed to see hundreds of mudbugs scampering about and in the water. It didn't take me long to put 2 and 2 together.
