Eric Allen has the best record, so the best picker picked us.

Did anybody else notice this trend... Except for this ESPN Poll...
The media picking the Colts and former playeres picking the Saints.

LOL, i love being an underdog... We play much better that way... Eric Allen does have the best record & no matter if the Saint's were 3-13, he would still pick'm... A true Saint by heart!!!

Not to knock the pick or his record on picks, but Eric Allen is an ex-Saint (1995-1997).

Scoring the most points wins the Super Bowl, not being picked the most. Not unlike the most yardage in a NFC Championship game will not win it for you either.

Excellent point - WHo cares what the talking heads have to say. They have found reasons to belittle us all year long. WHy should the SB be any different??

Re: ESPN's "Expert" Superbowl Picks

I noticed something yesterday on ESPN. When Teddy Bruschi was asked if the Colts lack of a running game was a concern for them because they had the lowest ranked running game in the NFL, Bruschi said that stats don't matter. Really, Teddy? Are you serious? He was one of the MAIN "EXPERTS" who harped on the Saints having the "25th-ranked defense". I came to the conclusion that stats only matter unless they are talking about the Colts. They are all tards and will continue to be tards. I can almost guarantee that when the Saints win the Super Bowl, they will show a little airtime on them winning, but the rest will be about how Peyton Manning choked and his legacy is in question.

Stats ONLY matter when they fall in line with an opinion.

I like our under weight status...we can go out a play our game. I hope the Colts think that they can just have their way with us.

The NFL.com Super Bowl Picks look a lot like the "ESPeen expert" picks.

Here is my pick - *Deeuuuccee!* leaves Miami with a Super Bowl ring.

My boy Tony's mom, is a hard core Catholic, and when we were watching the Vikings game, she told me and Tony, that the Saints were going to win that game. This was right BEFORE Favre threw that INT, that sent the game to overtime. She wasn't even watching the game. She just said that she knew already..... Then, after the game, that in Mexico, where she's from, that people used to call her a witch, because she had insights into the future. She then told me, that she knows, that the Saints are going to win the Superbowl. After she called that Vikes game? I will never question that woman's insights ever again.

The media is just blah blah blah talking heads...but the witches, goats, Madden video game and everything else that has given us the nod are by far more credible in my opinion.

I guess it's not so bad being an underdog. We seem to perform better when we're "expected" to lose! Bring home that Lombardi, boys! Who Dat!

Apparently a gorilla picked us to win as well. They had a Saints football and a Colts football laid out for him to play with, and he chose the Saints one. That made me giggle to see this.

Experts at what? 95% of them are barely 500. Their own Computer models can barely hit 500. Let me guess....everyone but Allen got together and programmed the computer simulation?
