Wish I lived in NOLA
 

As the days to the superbowl come about im stuck on this island wishing i could make the superbowl.. It was a dream to watch the saints play for the first time in franchise history. i feel rather jealous for the people who live in the mainland.. but i i will be there in spirit. i will be watching the game at my freinds house being the only saints fan but i will cheer for new orleans i will fight for new orleans thats of course if i am too drunk to even know what im doing! lol anyways let GEAUX SAINTS! cant wait for the game!

You and me both. I'm stuck in South Dakota. Even if I had the $$, my car wouldn't make the trip. And it's snowing, which makes it that much more difficult.

Thankfully, I have my own piece of New Orleans this weekend. Deadwood is holding their annual Mardi Gras celebrations tonight and tomorrow night, so that's where I'll be. And Sunday, the sports bar I hang out at is throwing a Cajun themed Super Bowl party in honor of my mom and I for our loyalty to the bar and to the Saints. Since we're two of the few Saints fans in Rapid, the bar owner wanted to do something fun for us for Super Bowl.

My boss is from Fargo ... she moved down about a year ago because of the cold and snow ..she's a minnesotan ...go figure ..tired of the snow!?

Ditto, just back in SD from business trip in Omaha. Can't take much more of this rain/snow in South Dakota and Nebraska. I'm tempted to go AWOL to NOLA and pack my Saints gear, tennis racket and baseball glove.
