Re: Five Quarterbacks....

They showed that stat during the game, and I think they said the Bills did the same thing in 93 or something like that. The only team to beat 5 superbowl winning QB's in the same season and win the Superbowl. Very impressive.

Didn't the Saints also become the first team to lose to the Bucs and win a SB in the same season

Changing history lol

We snapped a lot of trends this season. We did the unthinkable. We became the first team to make it and win a Super Bowl after losing its final three regular season games. We did the whole Tampa thing. We beat all the future HOF'ers in the playoffs and Super Bowl. It was an incredible season that had a storybook ending. The Saints are World Champions!

something that seems to be getting looked over is your kicker

lock that man up for a long time. He had an incredible performance considering the stage he was on

Definately not too early. Brees has a hall of fame pedigree.

Not to rain on your parade, but none of them are HOF'ers, yet...and it is FAVRE. R before V except in FAVRE. Personally, I think Eli has a chance to be a HOF'er, too, as he got his ring a lot sooner than his brother.

Another thing too. Drew is the first Quaterback from Texas to Win a Super Bowl.

I guarantee you that no Saints fan is overlooking him. He has only missed two field goals in two years as a Saint. The game-winner against the Vikings was HUGE. He was clutch in the Super Bowl. He will definitely be a Saint for a long time.

Drew will be a HOFer. I'm willing to bet on it!

They will be HOF-ers, not raining on anything of mine, If that is all you got out of my post than you have bigger issues to contend with. I can misspell Brets name any way I like. See i can even take a "t" out if I like.

A ring does not make anyone a Hall of Famer.

With all due respect, that's what I think anyone would take from your post if you took the time to make two separate lists with the only difference being that Eli was not on the HOF list. What was your purpose of making the two if you did not want to make that distinction?

Re: Five Quarterbacks....

Forgot to mention in this Amazing season we Broke 2 curses.

Tampa Curse = Broken
SI Curse= Broken

Choupique 02-09-2010 08:02 AM

Re: Five Quarterbacks....

The Colts can't wash off with soap the vodou ruut's cast their way, however.

SI curses are weak in contrast. They ain't got chit on Marie Laveau.
Her curses last for generations. I would suggest moving.
http://fascinatingpeople.files.wordp...ie-leveaux.jpg
They'll have stuff falling off for years to come. A native New Orleans son going up against a vodou queen? Manning should know better.

The Blue people better duck. Fans better check their package for shrinkage.

Some of us tried to warn their dumb(_!_)'s

This was my 667th post, if you'll notice. Some of us know better.

BUT - All of you forget that the only reason that we won was because all the refs, the players, owners & the entire NFL was paid off.

(according to so much chatter online)

Peyton got his ring first...but it took about 9 or 10 years. Eli got his in his 4th year.
