Its true. FOREVERFAN doesnt appear in the picture, because he's actually in the middle of the pile, and you cant see him.

I can't believe how long I have been here- this August will make 6 years. I think the board is even better then it was back then. I would never have dreamed we would have won the SB

I am still enjoying it. I am going to watch the SB later this week again- it is on the DVR. How can I get it off of my Direct TV DVR player is the question-

Geaux Saints-

Geaux Saints-

I hear ya 25, I just ordered the 3-disc set of the best game of 2009. Dolphins, Falcons, and Patriots games. I can't wait. I also ordered the four disc set of the road to the Superbowl. The Redskins, Cardinals, Vikes, and the Superbowl, all in Blu-Ray. Comes out June 1st. Now I have to buy a BluRay player.

I just love to think back over last season and how things were on this site. Each week we edged a little nearer to the ultimate goal, the tension on here was electric. Dare we begin to think that we may, just may, get to the Superbowl, especially after all the previous years disappointments. Then we did and won the big one and everyone had a ball. This is a great place to be and long may it continue. Can't wait for the next season to begin.

GEAUX SAINTS!!!!!!!

Yes. This is by far the best Saints NG on the web. It's my home away from home. I've been through alot this past year, and it's always a comfort to come in here, and shoot the s*^%. I look forward to getting back home in the next year, so I can meet some of you guys. Until then, I will be here, every week.

Thinking back on last season, I have a question for all. Did you yell lodest when:

a) Porter intercepted Manning in the SB.

b) Porter intercepted Favre in the NFC championship.

c) Hartley hit the FG to send us to the SB.

According to my wife, my answer is C.

C. Without a doubt.

In fact, as long as we got to the Superbowl it was fine with me. I never even really thought about winning it until a week later. I really didn't know how to act. I felt like a virgin who was going home a women.... well not exactly but...

This is more than just a "Mere" website.

This is my sixth year of membership here, and look forward to another 6 years.

I have made some really close friends on this site, and have lost a really close friend on this site. I can't thank Halo, Pak, QBrees, Hagan, Cher, Papz and countless others, enough for making this site what it is.

Great News, Great updates and GREAT MEMBERS!

Thanks HALO!

C, yes.. but I dont know how much I was able to yell. Mostly I was stunned. I think I did that thing girls do when they win Miss America.

The Super Bowl was all gravy for me. I mean, you bet I wanted to win, and shut up a lot of people... and I was concerned when we were down 10-0.... but I swear it still hasnt really sunk in...... My sense of reality would more easily absorb an alien landing on the freeway.

But the NFC Championship--- I needed it. I needed us to win it. Anything less than a win would have felt like another sad, cursed ending, especially since we were leading late in the game. We needed to win the NFC, and we needed to win that game, and not lose it. Only after the crowd on my side of the Dome went nuts, did I realize where we were going. ...Then I turned into Miss America....

Ive never been so happy to walk on the streets in New Orleans. What a sweet memory.

That is a good question, however you left one option out. I think for me it was a tie. The interception of Favre and the non-play just before that, the 12 men on the field penalty call that took them out of field goal range. I lost it when the yellow flag was thrown. I think I scared my wife. I knew immediately that that flag was going to give us a chance to win the game and Porter came through for us. I'm getting chill bumps right now just thinking about it.

YouTube - Vikings fans reaction to Favre interception vs Saints

All of the above works for me too!

Re: Attention: B&G Members

You know, they keep saying Favre could have ran for a couple of yards. Which Saints LB is that directly in front of him? Is that Shanle? At best Favre gets to the 33-- very likely worse-- a 51 yard FG... not a gimme by any stretch of the imagination. In fact, Scott Norwood was a 51 yard attempt. What does everyone say about that one? Oh, the Bills should have went for 5 more to give him a real chance. Favre was going for 10 more to give him a real chance.

And that announcer..."Take a knee and kick a 56 yarder?" Wow, I didnt realize Tom Dempsey was back in the league.

....whining, blaming, and what ifs...

Its nice to be US now.

I remember prior to the Brees and Payton regime our greatest moment was "Hakim drops the ball!"

It's good to be king.
